Hey 2 u all,
I haven't been on the blog or site for awhile because I dropped the gold member thing. But wanted to check in from Sonoma County.
My door will always be open to friends and new friends. Life is a gift and I do count my blessings everyday.
Now for the second part of this, I was hoping that someone might have some information on how to open up a singlewoman DBA Harley Dealership in Sonoma County. It's a dream I would like to pursue, but would greatly appreciate any feedback into more...

You are both so right. I actually got a response about a franchise. It is 2Mil net worth, and 1Mil unencumbered funds. Then it's the application process because of the trademark. I don't imagine SB is up to the kind of backing. Now I'm thinking silent partners, huuum? Well it's a dream, and I know I could do it if I had the funding. I just want to say Thanks for the direction and input. Take care, Gypsy
'Also' check out the Small Business Administration office in your area. May be something that they can help you with or at least advise you in good direction. Ask all sorts of questions, women a minority?, what kind of loan/grant if any could I get and 'more' ??????'s Even if you think they might be stupid or not relevant.....should you have or have you thought of a partner? A silent partner with money? Just ask, ask, ask.....can't hurt and you might get the right answer in all that.....and yes, more...

But as I said, if the SBA can really help you as a 'woman' owner/operator/CEO, that would be worth checking into first.
OH, and have a business plan made up and at your ready, just in case they ask if you've thought of one......
GOOD LUCK and Take Care!!!!!!
